Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
The arcane art of getting your web site to rank as highly as possible in the search engines is one shrouded in mystery. Our principle on it is rather than try to be one step ahead of the search engines and use a new trick they haven't yet recognised we simply employ two principles:
- Build web sites that meet W3C coding standards to make it as easy as possible for search engines to index the web site, the method by which they pull the information out of the site.
- Ensure that the content of the site is structured and appropriate for both the target audience but also the search engines. Search engines can only pick up on what's there and this includes the hidden metadata such as the page Title, Keywords and Description.
